You have neighbors! We have a candidate!
If you're in-district willing to donate the use of your home for an hour or two, we'd love for you to host a meet-and-greet. Basically, you pick a date and time, usually for 1-2 hours, and invite your friends and neighbors to attend. Luann will be there to chat with people, answer questions, and hear what's important to you all. Depending on the exact date and time, Christina School Board member Doug can also be there to combo local school concerns with their statewide counterparts.
What you need to do to start:
Send an e-mail to campaign@luannfordelaware.com with your name, address, and availability.
What you need to do in the runup to the meet-and-greet:
Invite your neighbors over (we'll provide flyers, and we'll also help going door to door with them).
Make space in your home for everyone.
Provide some water and snacks (grapes, crackers, chips, candy, etc.).
And that's it!
Local politics is about local relationships, so anything that you can do to help build those is critical to our success. And those relationships persist after the campaign is over, and they can be used for mutual aid, general friendship, and activism for future causes and concerns.
